Mason Mitchell Wins First Career ARCA Race with Roush Yates Engines

Mooresville, NC (July 21, 2014) Mason Mitchell won his first career ARCA Series race on Saturday at Chicagoland Speedway with help from his Roush Yates powered engine. Mitchell drives the number 98 Ford for his family owned team and has had a great 2014 season, finish second four times. The win comes during his 35th career start in the ARCA Series. Another ARCA driver wins by having RoushYates’ Ford engine and using VR-12 at the Chicagoland Speedway. (Joliet, IL July 19) – Race car driver number 98,  Mason Mitchell scored his first ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards victory by winning the Ansell ActivArmr 150 at Chicagoland Speedway Saturday afternoon. Mitchell has finished second place four times this season – all to different drivers – but put an end to that by taking the lead at Chicagoland with six laps remaining and sailing into victory lane.
