Enfinger Makes ARCA History at Salem Speedway

Mooresville, NC (April 28, 2014)  Roush Yates Engines’ driver Grant Enfinger made history Sunday afternoon in the ARCA Racing Series. Enfinger and Team BCR won their third consecutive race of the season, becoming just the second driver in the series’ 62 season history to do so.

Enfinger, driving the No. 90 Motor Honey-Casite.com Ford powered by Roush Yates Engines, jumped to an early lead during the first 104 laps of the Federated Auto Parts 200. After a series of cautions and restarts he held off Spencer Gallagher to bring home his fifth career ARCA win.

Enfinger has now won at Daytona International Speedway, Mobile International Speedway, and Salem Speedway in 2014 using VR-12 coolant additive in all three races. VR-12 is used in all Roush Yates’ ARCA engines to prevent corrosion and electrolysis build up in the engines.

“I can’t thank Howard and Paula Bixman enough for giving me such great cars and allowing me to do this,” said Enfinger in Victory Lane. “We have such great equipment from the incredible cars to the Roush Yates engines.”

The ARCA Racing Series will head to Talladega next week and Enfinger will have a chance to win the first four races of the season – something never done before in ARCA history.

“That’s going to be tough,” said Enfinger. “You just never know what is going to happen at Talladega but we have a great plate program with Roush Yates and I know we’ll be fast.”

Team BCR not only runs Roush Yates Engines but also uses Roush Yates Performance Products’ used chassis components on their cars. To learn more about Roush Yates Engines and Roush Yates Performance Products, please visit www.roushyatesparts.com or call 877-798-RYPP.
