Panther Racing has now confirmed that Oriol Servia will be at the helm of the team’s DW12 for the reminder of the IndyCar season due to Ryan Briscoe’s ongoing American Le Mans Series’ commitments.
At first the Australian thought that he would be able to pull IndyCar-ALMS double-duty in Baltimore this week-end but his Level 5 team was not as receptive about the idea.
Even though it is largely believed that Briscoe is the frontrunner for the Panther ride in 2014, reports from Europe suggested that one of the drivers in line for a test could be former Toro Rosso Formula 1 driver, Jaime Alguersuari.
