The 2013 SEMA Show draws near… It will be filled with a lot of exciting things to see, not to mention VR-12′s booth, which will be giving out coupons you can use for a discount at the  VR-12 Online Store. We have been keeping busy in our goal to change how people view their cooling system. It’s not just another part of our vehicle we simply do basic maintenance to and let that be the end of it. We want to let people know what consequences this has for them, the car’s performance and, in this case, what it does to the environment. It is in everyone’s best interest to keep the planet unpolluted and we know everyone will be part of it once they get to know us. So come on down to SEMA 2013 and learn more, or bring friends if you want them in on it, too!

SEMA 2013 Preview: “Bad Penny” Mustang by Classic Design Concepts

By this time next week our boots will be on the ground at the 2013 Specialty Equipment Manufacturer’s Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, our camera lenses slurping up all the eye candy to bring to you right here daily.

Until then, people like Classic Design Concepts (CDC) are giving us a sneak peek at what’s in store. Their concept “Bad Penny” they say is set up to be the ultimate competition machine and ready for anything.

The striking 2014 Mustang GT gets deep black paint with copper accents, performance add-ons and styled with an aggressive stance on 20” Forgiato super concave wheels. Seems Forgiato is the top shelf choice for many of these builds of late.

A Ford Racing Supercharger under the hood gives Bad Penny 624hp with street commanding presence that roars to life thanks to Pypes long tube headers and Ford Racing side exhaust. There is also Ford Racing Adjustable Struts/Shocks, Mustang RTR adjustable front/rear sway bars, Whiteline Rear Watt’s Link, and Wilwood Big brake upgrades.

Exterior styling on “Bad Penny” highlights CDC’s Mustang Performance Grille and multiple Mustang RTR accessories including a Custom Deck Lid Trim Panel, License Plate Surround, Rear Splitters and Aluminum Spoiler.

Classic Design Concepts decided to round out “Bad Penny’s” design with a CDC customized Chin Spoiler, Side Splitters, Lower Grille and functioning Brake Cooling Ducts.

“Bad Penny” wouldn’t be complete without a redesigned interior. A Ford Racing gauge pack was added to keep tabs on what’s going on under the hood. Ford Racing Recaro Mustang Seats wrapped in custom Alea leather keep the driver, and willing passenger secure.

Interior trim accents include color matched door inserts with custom made “Bad Penny” inlays. CDC also added a rear seat delete, to maximize space for a Kicker audio tray. Audio enhancements by Kicker include IX amps, QS mid range speakers and L7 Subwoofers.

We will bring you a full photo gallery and review of this show car next week from SEMA, come back and see us!
