The initiative designed for the R&D&i sector, recognises the research effort, innovative capacity and technical developments being carried out by companies in this sector.
The winners of this edition, which has had a record number of participants, will be known on 15 March at the Fair.
The Innovation Gallery of Motortec Automechanika Madrid 2017, the contest organised by IFEMA from 15 to 18 March, presents a total of 55 products from 37 companies, duplicating the number of proposals presented at the last edition. Additionally, it is worthy of mention that projects have been presented in all ten categories of the Innovation Gallery Awards–Car windows, bodywork and painting; Electrical and electronic components; Accessories; Cleaning; Service Stations; Workshop equipment and tools; Diagnosis equipment and solutions; Contribution to innovation in industrial vehicles; and Management services or platforms, training and information for the workshop-, offering a varied overview of the innovation within the sector that is available to all workshops and professionals participating in the contest.
From amongst all the projects presented, a jury of experts formed by professionals and representatives from Universities, Technological Centres, Consultants, and Technical Press, will select 3 finalists for each category, according to criteria such as innovation, design, applicability, as well as their contribution to energy efficiency and the environment, either inherent to the product or derived from its installation.
The proposals selected will be exhibited by categories in a prominent section of Hall 7 at Motortec Automechanica Madrid. The winners of the Innovation Gallery Awards will be made public on 15 March.
